Kailua Intermediate School

Going to Kailua Intermediate School (KIS) in 2004 a couple of friends and myself who attend church together wanted to start a club on campus. Not knowing what to do or how to start one was an opportunity for us to trust in God.  We found out one of the P.E teachers was a Christian and also wanted to start a club, but the club needed to be student initiated.  We met a couple of times, tried inviting people but it just never went through.  Although it didnt go through we planted a seed.

Now after graduating high school and attending college I am a part of YFC and the club at KIS. The reason why I go to club every week is to speak truth and destiny over the kids' lives.  Especially in junior high they are trying to find who they are and where they fit in. Club gives the kids an opportunity to express their faith freely and be encouraged by so many other students.
